Cohorts worth watching on Hong Kong product teams

New users, power users, and dormant seats tell different stories. Average behavior dashboards hide all three.

Averaging product behavior across every account hides three stories. New users explore widely and abandon features quickly. Power users concentrate on a few flows and ignore featured prompts. Dormant seats still appear in licence or MAU totals while contributing almost no meaningful sessions.

For Hong Kong product teams we usually recommend cohorts by tenure band, plan or seat type when available, and last meaningful activity date. Behavior pulses then track those cohorts separately so a healthy power-user core does not mask a quiet onboarding problem.

Agree cohort definitions before the first pulse. Changing them mid-cycle invalidates the trend line.
